Background: USAID plans to develop a 2 MW land-based solar generation facility in the Caracol Industrial Park (CIP). Solar generation will be appropriately collected, controlled, transformed, and supplied to the Caracol grid at 23 kV, 60 Hz.

Open positions: NRECA is seeking skilled solar experts for our management team in this project. Applicants must have a university degree in engineering and direct experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Design and construction of grid-connected solar generation facilities.
- Operation and maintenance of grid-connected solar generation facilities.
- Training of personnel in O&M related activities.

Qualifications requises:

Experience in Haiti is significantly advantageous. Applicants must have good working level skill in Creole, French and English.

These programs have resulted in increased agricultural productivity, millions of new jobs in micro and small enterprises, and higher incomes and quality of life for more than 100 million people.

NRECA International operates field offices in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Philippines, Southern Sudan and Yemen, and maintains its home office at NRECA’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
