A propos de Children of the Promise
The mission of Children of the Promise’s (COTP) is to provide excellent physical, emotional, spiritual, economic and educational care for at-risk children and families in Haiti, empowering the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Our Vision is a Healthy Christian home and family for every Haitian child.
COTP serves families at risk of separation through family strengthening programs, with the goal to keep families together and to empower them for sustainable health and wellness. When a separation of child from family does occur, we pursue temporary family based care with the goal of a Domestic Foster Care placement first and foremost with international adoption as a final option.
Education is a key piece in helping families out of the cycle of poverty. Our school, Institution Chrétienne Enfants de la Promesse (ICEP), welcomes over 330 students to school every day and it's vision is "to provide Christ-centered quality education, equipping students for a life of praise and service in their communities and beyond for the glory of Jesus Christ".
