Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party at World Vision International-Haiti

Description du poste:

World Vision is hiring a Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party for Haiti USAID Counter-Trafficking in Person project.

Are you motivated by your Christian faith to serve children, families and communities living in the context of poverty and injustice?

Does World Vision’s goal of transforming the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children resonate with you?

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian aid organisation seeking to create lasting change in Haiti; currently impacting the lives of over 55,250 children, their families and their communities. World Vision Haiti has secured a US $5 Million, 4 year, USAID-funded project focusing on “Counter-Trafficking in Persons.” The goal of the project is to address the endemic issue of human trafficking in Haiti while fostering a state-lead and inter-agency system that protects people at risk of trafficking, meets the needs of victims and works towards creating a human rights environment that systematically precludes trafficking from happening.

As Chief of Party, you will have overall responsibility for coordination of all project activities and staff. This senior leadership position will be responsible for strategic planning and decision making, technical guidance and administrative oversight of the program and will serve as the principal institutional liaison to USAID and local Haitian government entities.

As Deputy Chief of Party, you will report to the Chief of Party and will ensure timely delivery of required objectives and deliverables. You are responsible for financial accountability, staffing, planning; ultimately ensuring that grants operations and sub-grantee management activities are in full compliance with USAID regulations and aligned to World Vision Haiti National Office operations.

Qualifications requises:

Candidates should have Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines, over (7) years of experience managing large grant-funded projects and extensive understanding of social, economic, and political context governing anti-trafficking and migration issues in Haiti. Candidates are required to have fluency in French and English with familiarity with Haitian Creole being a plus.

Apply by the closing date October 24, 2018.
