Fleet Manager at BRANA S.A.
Description du poste:
The fleet manager is responsible for the selection of appropriate vehicles, and maintaining them, so that the company will be able to distribute their products or render service effectively at a minimal cost.
o Ensure the safety of our drivers and vehicles according to the HEINEKEN standards for transportation
o Assist with the selection of vehicle purchases and how they are to be equipped
o Oversee the sale and/or auction of used vehicles
o Draft expense and performance reports of the fleet for management
o Draw up a budget for the company’s fleet management department and present it to management for further analysis and approval
o Ensure compliance of the company with government regulations relative to the transportation industry
o Make sure vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders by scheduling and monitoring current trends in the industry, to enable forecasts
o Make sure that all vehicles are properly registered; carry out inspection on regular basis
o Take part in different workshops and/or programs to keep up with new trend in the industry
o Monitor fuel purchases by administering fuel cards for all vehicles to their respective drivers, to regulate costs/expenses.
o University graduate with a degree in logistics, mechanics, business administration, or related field
o A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role (in a fleet management company)
o At least 2 years of driving experience in a delivery role
o A level 3 fleet management certification
o Ability To Work Under Pressure And In A Cross-Cultural Environment;
o MS Office, Drawing Software (CAD), MS Project.
o Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills
o Good analytical and coordinating abilities
o Must possess good leadership qualities
o Must be proactive and be able to pay keen attention to the smallest of details
o Ability to work as part of a team
o Must be able to motivate the drivers to ensure their full co-operation
o Must be able to manage time effectively and also meet/beat deadlines
o Basic knowledge of computer applications
o Any other relevant certification will be a plus.
o Fluent in English (preferable)
