      <title>Psychologist &amp; Counselor - Orphalinat Maison De Lumiere / Child Hope International</title>

      <description>Overview
Under the authority and supervision of the Directors, the Part-time employee is responsible for applying our mission and vision in the management oversight and execution of counseling activities between Maison De Lumiere (MDL): Children, staff, and family members.  These responsibilities will include: evaluating children and families while implementing &amp; monitoring care plans, assisting our social worker with family reintegration, reunification and preservation plans.  These requirements of Child Hope International dba Orphelinat Maison de Lumiere in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, are as described herein:

Tasks:
-Develop and implement an internal system for trauma informed care
-Provide all counseling needs of Child Hope children and complete necessary reporting
-Evaluate, manage and keep current all children&#8217;s psychological files
-Develop and implement a psychological care plan within our Family Hope strategy: family reunification, aftercare &amp; family preservation
-Provide counseling support to families before, during and after reunifications
-Work closely with Directors, Social Worker, Orphanage Supervisor and staff as needed
-Meet weekly with Directors providing updates
-Identify needs and arrange for psychological and social support to children and families 
-Provide recommendations for children which require special assistance

Metrics for Success:
-Children are able to process their traumas, feelings and grow in Christ&#8217;s love and healing.
-All 22 Children meet with counselor 2 times each month
-Children and families are provided psychological care
-Internal records clearly track individual child progress 
-Children and families regain hope through Christian motivated care, relationships and training

What success looks like:
-Internal reporting system and trainings are in place and on a routine schedule
-Children and family understand how to process and manage emotions, make healthy attachments, and heal from past trauma
-Families in the reunification process are empowered and find hope through counseling, resources, and trainings
-Families in crisis within our community (or sent by IBESR) are supported and remain intact through orphan prevention strategies
-All of our children are reconciled into families
-Family Hope program becomes new identity of impact

6.	 Elaboration des activit&#233;s pour promouvoir la sant&#233; mentale communautaire (dans les communes et voisinages)
